Helego! In this post, I am going to talk about the application on the app store called Lego photo. What you do with this app is take a picture or take one already in your library and transform it into Lego! There are different types colours you can get. You will see the difference in the pictures that I will show you.

Check out the Lego Santa clause face that I made! One of the hardest parts to do was doing the moustache over his mouth because I had to imagine it in my head without the rest of the face. Also, doing the end of his hat was hard.

Life of George

There is this new Lego theme called life of George. It's so cool! You buy this set with bricks and a special base plate. Then, with your iPhone or iPod touch, you go and download the app Life Of George. What you do is you open the app, you have all the menu and stuff, then you select a challenge. What happens is that you get a model to make and a certain number of time. When you are finished, you place the model on the special base plate. Then, take a picture and you completed the challenge!

Old but recent Lego themes

Hello! Let's talk about Lego themes that are not that old but do not exist any more. First off, mars mission. I found it was a really cool theme. I don't get why Lego stopped making that theme. I really liked the whole idea of astronauts going to mars for the first time and being invaded by aliens. The sad thing is I find, is that it only lasted two years. 2007-2008. Also, this is kind of were the idea of energy crystals started. The theme power miners came after mars mission and they also used the idea of power crystals.

There was also the theme agents. It was a really cool theme involving agents. It one of the first Lego themes to have agents. This theme also only lasted 2 years. 2008-2009. I found that in this theme, just by looking at the sets, you could feel the action in this theme. the bad guys, they looked very evil. The agents look heroic. They all had there characteristics.

Lego Indiana Jones. This theme is still on the Lego website but by my knowledge, they don't sell sets anymore. Which is sad because it is one of my favourite themes. This theme started in early 2008 and pretty much ended in end 2010 early 2011. One of the things that I loved about this theme is that every set has a special feature. For example, the set Indiana Jones and the lost tomb. You could make the snakes come down, make the two statues come down and crash open the walls and cool things like that.

I could go on forever talking about themes like this. There are allot of cool themes that Lego abandoned. But also, Lego keeps releasing other cool themes. Time brings change and we just have to accept it!

Lego Universe

Hello Lego fans! Lego universe is THE Lego game. It is multiplayer and if you want to play, you have to have a Lego club account (which is free and easy to do on the Lego website). So when you play, you are surrounded by Lego fans! I have the free versions and let me tell you, it is the best mmog game EVER! It is so much fun and the graphics are super! What I really like is that there are daily missions so the fun never ends! And you have your own property to build stuff. If you are a Lego fan, you should at least get the free-to-play version to try it out. It is so cool! In Lego universe, lot's of times in your missions, you will have to build things. And Lego universe has even inspired me in my Lego building! This game is really worth getting!

The Ninjago tour

This weekend, I went to the ninjago tour. It was so fun! It was at " Les galeries de la capitale " in quebec city from the 19 to the 21 of august. I was there the 19. Check out this video about my visit!

This Lego event was so cool! It was lots of fun and great prizes to win!

In Canada, there is only one ninjago tour stop and it's at :
Scotiabank Buskerfest, Toronto, Ontario and it's the 25 to the 28 of august.

Lego Univers free-to-play

Hi everybody! The multiplayer game Lego Universe has finally made us a free-to-play version and it is out! This is certainly something to get exited about!

Ahhhhhh... what a comfy armchair!

Ever wanted to have a comfy armchair for free? Now you can by building your own... Lego style! Warning, these armchairs are suitable for Lego minifigs only.

If you want to make a sofa, just replace the 2x4 piece by a 2x8 piece. Replace the 1x4 to a 1x8 and replace the 2 1x2 by 2 1x6.

Ninjaaaaaaaaa GO!

Ninjago is a very cool Lego theme. It has been a very long time since Lego has made ningas. One of the very cool new things is the game Spinjitzu. It is one of the main parts of the theme. It is a very cool game and the spinning tops work very well. Also, another very cool feature, is that you get playing cards! Every card has a special effect. You also get 3 typs of weapons wich is fun. Over all I am really happy that Lego has made this new Lego theme and I am exited to see what other great ideas Lego has for us!

I think that it's a really cool Lego theme. They made a video game which is cool. The sets look pretty fun.The characters are well detailed. The sets have lots of colour and you can sens the action in them. The huge pirate ship from the "Queen Anne's revenge" set is really cool.

Let's be honest

Hello brick friends! I'm going to be honest. Lego make really cool themes. But some, especially the new alien conquest, hero factory and hero recon team are kind of just Lego themes for the sake of having Lego themes. Let me explain. Alien conquest is kind of a copy of space police, hero recon team is a copy of hero factory, and hero factory is kind of a copy of bionicle. But Lego in all is a very cool building toy and I Love it!

Lego Universe free-to-play version coming out soon!

Hi! What I think about this. I am really happy that they made this free version that is coming out in August because it is expensive. You have to buy the CD of the game, and than pay for a subscription. This free-to-play version won't have as many things as if you bought the CD and everything, but I am still really happy that there is a free version and it will still have most of the fun stuff.
