Lego Star Wars: The Battle For R2D2 MOC

Helego! Check out this MOC I've made! I called it The Battle for R2D2!

I call it the battle for R2D2 because Anakin and his clones is battling General Grievous and his droids because they both want R2D2! R2D2 is trapped in a special pod:

Right here is Anakin's side:

And here is General Grievous's side:

I hope you like it! I really like how the clones are positioned and the droids are all in perfect lines.

So, what do you think about it?

Lego Marvel super heros VS. Lego DC super heros

Helego! As you know, Lego has two superhero themes: Marvel and DC. So I am going to compare them.

So let's start with marvel. One of the things about the marvel is that their sets are manly the avengers so they have much more superheros. They have Thor, Captain America, The Hulk, Iron Man and many more!

To be honest, I am not a marvel fan-boy but my favourite super hero is definitely Captain America so that's also one of the reasons I love marvel. Also, I really like how they designed the minifigures.

Next, we go on with DC universe. One thing that is really noticeable is how the DC superheros have less super heroes. That theme has batman, superman and wonder women. That's pretty much it. I have to admit I really like batman. One thing that I have noticed about DC though, is that they have much more villains! Especially because batman has so many!

The marvel only have Loki and the sort of aliens right now.

DC has all of Batman's villains like the joker, the penguin and cat women. That is only for batman and he has more. So a good point of DC is there villains. Another cool thing about DC is that they have a video game, Lego Batman 2, so that is really cool. I hope that Marvel will have one too some day.

Finally for the sets, I can't really judge them because every set has there pros and cons. It's different from every set from another.

So what do you guys think? Which theme do you prefer?

Lego Ninjago spinjitzu spinner battle!

Helego! I really like the Ninjago theme. But to be honest, I prefer much more the spinner and spinjitzu part of it than the sets. Here is a battle that I did with my best friend!

I won! We weren't following completely the rules ;) If you are wondering why the heck we are wearing jeans and long sleeves at this time of year it's because it was shot during the winter. So that battle happened like in February. So yeah. I find that the spinjitzu battles are really fun. What I like is that you play with someone else and it's very interactive.

Lego Technic Quad Bike

P.S. This is my 100th post!!!!!

Older builders like me can relate to this... Bigger builds

Helego! One thing that has been bothering me a bit lately, is the age rating, the level of difficulty and pricing of Lego. Since I am older now (teenager), I am a bit bummed out about this situation. Let me explain myself.

So, most inexpensive, smaller sets are age rated usually for about 5-12 years old. And theses sets are not a complicated build. Now most of us, mostly older kids, I don't know about you guys, but I like more complicated sets for my age. The problem is, lot's of these sets are expensive. Some can be easily over 100$. Luckily, there are some that are what I want and are not to expensive. The Technic theme is a good example.

Their sets are not to expensive, are a good challenging build, and lot's of them, are more for my age. For example, the Technic Quad Bike set is for ages 8-14. Which isn't bad. I think Lego should do a theme more for older kids with harder to build sets and not to expensive. I think that would be awesome! Technic is close enough, but not enough. ;)

So what do you guys think? Do you think my idea is good? Do you agree with me? Tell me what you think!
